Porto Muiño's organic sea spaghetti is brown seaweed. Their long, thin and slightly branched appearance looks almost like tagliatelle. Their taste is reminiscent of fresh beans. Their consistency is firm.
Application:
Fluid intake:
1. soak the seaweed in water for 20 minutes.
2. repeat this process.
3. they increase their weight 10-fold when wet.
Cooking time: Boil the seaweed in plenty of water for 10 minutes.
The dried seaweed can be roasted in the oven and ground to be used as a condiment. You can bake the seaweed as a starter and enjoy it with boiled fish, seafood and salads. Also suitable as an ingredient in rice, pasta and vegetable dishes, soups, croquettes, etc.
Ingredients:
Sea spaghetti (Himanthalia elongata) from the wild harvest of the Galician coast (Bay of Biscay and Portuguese waters).
May contain traces of shellfish and fish from the sea.
Additional information:
Store at room temperature.
Keep the packaging airtight and dry after opening.
Consumer information:
Naturally rich in iodine. Excessive iodine intake can lead to thyroid problems. The German Nutrition Society therefore recommends an average daily intake of no more than 0.2 mg iodine. 2 g of dried seaweed spaghetti contains less than 0.2 mg of iodine.
